Privacy notice
Short version: we keep the email you give us, for what you gave it for, and nothing about you that you didn't.
What we collect
When you give us your details (your name, email and company to unlock a full report; your email to join the monitoring waitlist or request an audit), we keep them, the website it was about, any note you wrote, and when.
When you check a product, we read that product's public website and other public sources. That's information about products, not people. We don't scrape LinkedIn or collect personal data about the people behind a product.
To prevent abuse, we briefly use your IP address to rate-limit new reports and sign-ups. It isn't stored with your email.
Why, and on what basis
To do what you asked: show the full report, tell you when monitoring launches, or reply to your audit request. The lawful basis is your request (contract) and, for launch news, your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who else handles it
- Netlify hosts the site and stores reports and sign-ups.
- Formspree delivers new sign-ups to us by email.
- Anthropic, our AI provider, processes public website content to produce readings. Your email is never sent to it.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, under the safeguards their terms provide.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until it's no longer needed for what you gave it for.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Reply to any email from us. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
